The Grand Opening of The Martini Girls Gallery & Studio, LLC was held on July 18. Cutting the ribbon to officially open the gallery are (l to r) Debbie Callahan, Marcia Hochstetter, Marcia Hero, Mayor Jill Didier, and Alderman Peter Donegan.

The History of the Martini Girls

 We all met while taking art classes from Pamela Scesniak at Artist and Display in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and James Hempel in Milwaukee’s Third Ward.  Sometimes, after classes, we would socialize by meeting at a bar and drinking martinis.  We began to gather together at a friend’s studio on a regular basis to create art and enjoy a martini or two.  Thus, the Martini Girls Gallery & Studio was formed.

 Since then, Marcia Hero, Debbie Callahan, and Marcia Hochstetter have taken the next step and opened this gallery and studio space.  Hopefully, you will frequent us often.
